Why am i getting plat players in a lobby full of bronzes...

So tell me why, when i'm in a lobby with my friends (the lowest is 30 unranked and the highest is SV), we get High gold-plat players on the opposing teams. We get dumpstered and it's not fun when the opposing team gets carried off of a plat3 GP and a G2 Kat. Any thoughts as to why this happens? I'm not just your typical bronze player who's salty about losing a game. It's just frustrating when you literally cannot play league because of this crap. #RIOTWHY

Apparently, these plat players are suppose to carry their team which usually has bad mmr and are bronze/silver. They do this to see if youre actually good enough to go to Diamond, to see if youre able enough to carry people with bad mmr and are bronze/silver to victory. I was told this by other Diamonds, so it may be wrong.
