One Issue with New Champ Select (Not a bby rage rant against it I really like it)

**First off I really enjoy the champ select when it went down after it was released I didn't even want to play rank and waited for it to come back up. I think visually it is awesome combined with the sounds picking champs gives you an epic experience and gets you pumped for the battle. I really like the DECLARE A CHAMP, it seems to significantly help the team get an idea about what type of comp they're looking at. You can see beforehand if, " Wow guys our comp is poop". Getting the visual information that the comp is crap, might really help to sway stubborn people into picking something better for the team. It also helps avoid all AD/AP teams. On the whole great job RIOT, s6 looks to be one of the best ever!!!

Now that I got that off my chest time to discuss what seems to me as a pretty big issue. My primary is JG and I was picking SUP as my secondary. Now this is only my experience and the data is based off an extremely small amount of information, but nonetheless I think my observations aren't some anomaly. Out of 5 games 4 of them placed me as my secondary. I have no problem with support I like it (which is why it is my secondary), but I was hoping I would be placed as my main at least around 9/10 times.

First thing I thought was since SUP is less played than JG, the system must be weighted towards SUP to get me in Q as quick as possible.

I thought to myself, "Hmm what is played a lot... MID". Next Q I selected JG as my primary and switched to MID for my secondary. Viola I'd say out of 8 - 10 times, I was only placed in MID twice.

Now this is a problem, because it completely conflicts with what seems to me RIOT was trying to accomplish. It seemed they wanted to create an experience where a player is placed in his comfortable positions, PRIMARILY in the players main role or in a comfortable fill position (SECONDARY). The problem for me is 4/5 times being placed in my secondary isn't acceptable, especially when in the OLD system I was getting my main a lot through communicating with my team. Unfortunately I'm forced to break the system in order to get my PRIMARY at a much higher rate.

My hypothesis would be that any players Qing up with something like MID/JG/TOP as their PRIMARY and with FILL/SUP/BOT as their SECONDARY is probably going to be placed in their SECONDARY > PRIMARY, or at a much greater rate than if they changed their SECONDARY to something played more often (like I did).

I'm aware the NEW matching system was just released and I'm sure RIOT is working hard to improve it, this is just something that I observed and thought RIOT may want to look into it.

BTW can't wait to watch RUSH tear it up TODAY LeeSin Nidalee Kindred
