Placements

Hey, I was hoping that you fellow players may help me with this. So the new season officially starts tomorrow and the ranks will be reset. I am currently in gold 4 with gold 3 mmr. I was wondering how many games will i have to win in order to get to at least gold 5 and if there was any way to get even higher rank considering that my mmr is in gold 3? Will winning all 10 games get me to gold 3? Does the KDA matter in the placement games? And, if i decide to duoq with a friend who is about the same elo as me will that change the rank i am going to get? I would really appreciate if you would answer some of my questions :) Sorry for the grammar mistakes English is not my first language, Thank you!
