You didn't tell us what you want to use them for. There are several nieches, and both champs can fit theirs better than the other. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Ahri is a great mobile champion, that specializes on taking out 1-2 champs per teamfight and then providing additional damage for your team. She can struggle against tanks when no teammates assist her in kiting/sticking. Deadly backline deleter with strong mobility.

Brand doesn't focus on deleting a designated target (although he definitely can), but instead deals massive amounts of AoE damage, that forces enemy team to split up during fights. He does well against tanks due to his passive, but his lacking mobility requires good awareness. Good overall dps against all targets.

She's has mobility, sustain, and good crowd control. Try her out; she's a bit more forgiving.
