Need help on burning out, tips on improving, and advice!

I recently hit level 30, however its taken me a very very long time, like, probably a year.. here's why.

I love this game, and I enjoy it a lot! However, when I first played this game, i stopped playing around level 15 because I started to suck and I couldn't improve. I went from 10/0/0 to absolutely sucking at the game. I guess I burned out, but that didn't really make sense to me since I was enjoying the game so much and I really wanted to improve. I watched tutorials, guides, and got tips from friends and friends of friends who were beyond my skill level. This helped but I lost it all, so I quit from exhaustion and frustration. Probably about 3 months later I join again feeling awesome. My first couple games I don't go 10/0 or anything like that but I was doing pretty good compared to my last games! However, the same thing happened and I kept loosing it! This happened more times than I can count but it ended up being about a year until i started playing again and hit level 30, which was very recent.

So I am currently playing right now, but I'm not improving, and I feel like a noob again. I get that I haven't played consistently for a long time, but my problem is that I can not improve at all! I look at guides, replay, watch streams, everything you can imagine. Although I have a couple good games, I am for the most part terrible. I can not play my main, Ahri with 62k champion points, anymore, and same for the other few champs I had since i almost never played anything but Ahri. I bought several new champs and I've stopped playing her and I've been feeling better while playing the game but i still see no improvement and its frustrating, but I'm scared I will quit again. Many of my friends I play with just make fun of me for sucking and I own up to it, which I believe is probably negatively contributing to my lack of improvement. I'm not sure what to do, so I'm asking for any past experiences that could help out, tips, or just feedback that could be of use or at least give me something relateable so I feel better about it.

I am level 30 with 110 wins, I can't play with my main anymore, and I am currently practicing Yasuo but I feel like I am not overall improving at the game since he is very powerful once you get snowballed. I also rarely win, most of my wins are from bot matches and its sad looking at my w/l ratio drop like hell. Really all I care about improving, I'm not looking for over night results, but I am tired of not seeing any results at all. Thanks and please respond!

Yasuo is not a champion you want to be playing if you are new to the game.. As strong as he is, you will fail until you learn more about the game.

I am not new, I am lvl 30 as stated. He also is not the only champion I'm having issues with, its the game entirely. Could I get some advice on how to improve pls?

A few suggestions instantly cross my mind after pulling your profile up.

  1. Rune pages are important. You only have 1 page filled out with three tier 1 quints and 9 tier 1 glyphs. You are going to struggle like none other until you get a couple filled tier 3 rune pages.

  2. Mastery pages are decent, except page 2. In no world or meta does sona need stormraiders surge. I suggest moving over to windspeakers.

  3. You may need to work on positioning or playing safer, you are having some really high deathcounts every game.

I suspect fixing rune pages may help with the dying part.

I'm guessing you were winning more games than the average new player. Since pre30 is flooded with smurfs and riot has to group them together fast or they end up ruining actual new players experience. You were probably at the point where the system thought you were a smurf and were placed against actual smurfs.

Just another way smurfs ruin the new player experience.
