I was recently reading a post about the phrase "GG EZ" and how many people consider it to be negative attitude, http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/QfzrV4bF-gg-ez?comment=0012 I was wondering what people think of the phrase "rekt" personally I find it to be quite negative and very unsportsmanlike, I was wondering what the general consensus was about this phrase. Do you feel that it is negative, or not, and why.
rekt is never even serious
People type something like get shit on if they're being serious
rekt is more long the lines of just fooling around. I've seen people type it when they themselves die, and I've even done that before too.
Shrekt is better though ^^
I personally have no problem with people saying it. If I was legitimately "Rekt" then who am I to get mad at them for pointing out the obvious? If I went off and almost carried the game and someone uses it, I still know that I did good so it really doesnt bother me. The issue is a lot of people like to follow it up with a bunch of trash talk, which after a bit of time just irritates the living shit out of people.
"You have been banned for 10 days because you showed bad sportsmanship in a casual online game with random people by saying that you "wrecked" your opponent and he felt bad".
I can see it now.
It is only negative if you choose to take it as negative, a majority of the time it is just joking around like if someone just flashes and ignites you and you die from the last tick.
