Rage Quitters thrive in system that refuses banning

How is it that I play 3 games and have 3 rage quitters on my team? Shouldn’t they all be banned by now? This seems almost exclusive to ranked. Nobody gives a fuck about normal games yet when I play ranked at least someone has to rq. The community is utter shit and the developers don’t seem to give a fuck about it. You can never decide the outcome of your game. It’s always a coin flip on if your team feeds or there’s does. Fuck the game and fuck the “tribunal system”. Joke of a game.

put a monthly subscription to league per account and that behavior goes away this is an issue with a free to play platform. you can start over whenever you want

Riot is a company, they only care about the people who pays. WoW is huge even with a sub based system.

aha, what a jokester, it won't stop anything, you got people trolling in overwatch, getting banned and just buying a new copy and doing it all over again, there being a cost wouldn't stop them.

also if they want to put a monthly subscription on the game all the content better be given for free otherwise what's the point in paying for the game monthly

permaban on a year-long subscription (without a refund because violation of TOS), they would only do it once. How many players are going to dish out multiple 60-70 dollar annual subscriptions (you're the jokester). It's not going to happen, but that would reduce toxicity and player base tremendously. It would always cut smurfing (which can be a cause of toxic behavior)

it would also cut the player base by 99% unless, like I said, they make everything in the game free.

no one would play this game if they had to pay an upfront 60-70 dollar/euro a year so it isn't a solution

Wouldn't work with a system like legue unless they severely gimped their store and made most skins obtainable through play iwhich is less profitable for them considering they would lose a huge chunk of their playerbase on the sub price alone.

Yeah, but in a system that liberally bans players, you get trolls who throw games.

The problem isn't the banning system, the problem is the design that encourages people to quickly end a game if they can't just as quickly win it.

Rage quiting is easy to be found by rioters and easier to be banned than what many players do recently (5 out of 7 games) and by that i mean "lol ff 15" "ff this game" "its lost" and when they do that? oh the adc vayne died "ff 15".

Leaverbuster gives players a 20 minute wait time for 5 games if they AFK multiple times in a certain time span. It's not a fun time because it means they also can't dodge as it resets the timer and doesn't count as a game played. So it's not like people who do this aren't getting punished.
