Queue Dodging....

Ok, I personally believe that being punished for "Dodging " A game you know will lose is a little unfair.

And for all you who say "But you can win everygame if you believe!!" Yeah no you can't.. I wanna see you win a game with a teemo jungle and karma adc.. Against a well built team.

I mean, I get the the fact we have to wait but why do we lose LP? for making a wise decision? Or why do we take a loss on our promo? its strictly unfair and I do believe this problem should be addressed..

Oh and before you start bashing me or anyone remember this is just my opinion, don't mean to upset any one who believes otherwise.

The problem with "dodging a game you know you'll lose" is with the player base. Many people have ideas of what does and does not work that does not actually coincide with what truly does and does not work. People will dodge because they do not agree with a pick, and it honestly doesn't matter whether they are right or wrong, if they thing they are right they will dodge.

That is, unless there is a punishment to dodging. You mention jungle Teemo and Karma ADC. I can't speak for Karma ADC, but jungle Teemo can actually work. From what I have seen it is based around keeping the enemy jungler down and unable to gank. With the jungle changes coming I honestly wouldn't be surprised if jungle Teemo actually got better with the bonuses to counter jungling. Now, whether it works or not there will be people who view it as a troll pick and will dodge, not because of it's viability but because of their opinion on it's viability. Viability is something that can be measured, and until the entire player base looks at the facts instead of their own opinion punishments for queue dodging are required.

Back when there was only a time penalty for queue dodging, there were so many dodges that I would spend 30 minutes picking champions before playing a game. And that's when dodging meant a 30 minute time ban. Added bonus -- troll picking was a huge problem, because people wanted someone else to take the time ban for them and it often worked.

Trust me, you do not want free dodging to become a thing.
