Hi I'm a Vel'Koz player. I don't think Yasuo's wind wall should be able to cancel Vel'Koz's knock-up when the knock-up is placed behind the wall. It just doesn't make sense to me - it's on the ground. I am basically unable to escape when I'm against Yasuo in the mid lane because he can block everything. Thanks.
L0ve Is Blue4 votesThis is so true. Wind wall can't block syndra's W and it's leggit the same thing as Vel'Koz's E. A projective that is sent from the caster and that lands into an AOE. Why is Vel'Koz's E different?

Narsicus3 votesVel'Koz's E fires a projectile which then strikes the ground and causes the eruption. Since it is a projectile it gets blocked just like any other projectile.

Basically, what I'm saying is I don't think it should actually be treated as a projectile when we consider its interactions with other champions.

Takes zero skills to put up a wind wall and blocks practically 90% of all the projectiles in the game. Riot should either remove that dumb mechanic or delete that stupid champion. As a Ahri, lux, ziggs, and Cho gath main I find it very oppressive having to lane against a Yasuo which prevents me from getting challenger.
P.S: I'm not really a Cho Gath main.

If Yasuo is the only thing stopping you from Challenger, ban him every game.

The Mom1 votesHis e is a projectile. The area its going to affect lights up, but vel shoots his void power to that area to use it. That is why his windwall blocks it.
