This fucking patch/ last 2 whole fucking seasons have been nothing but cc creep up the ass dude this is so inane each new champion has new cc and has like and new cancerous abilities to go along with it. you dont even have to run a two carries team any more just run four cc bots and one kai sa and youll prob win the game like its so simple. now youre prob thinking well in solo que you cant run that, and yeah you cant run that because the players just are not good enough to run it or you adc is just not good enough to pull it off. simple fact is ; If you can run a team comp with nothing but cc you will win in champ select like 60% of the time. cc creep is absolutely disgusting and tenacity is a garbage stat now.

They also need to reduce mobility in order to reduce CC. So many champions have dashes and in general the ability to dodge CC skillshots.

Personally I would reduce both. Being locked down when you try to do your job is not fun, but being untouchable due to mobility isn't fun either.

Ya. No. Because you have a lot of ways to counter cc

You do realize that changing how CC works would require numerous follow-up changes based on what Riot does, right? I’m not even going to bring up the overhauls required for support champions, many of whom have kits entirely devoted to crowd control. Instead, I will tell you how many champions in the game have kits with NO CC...

Eleven.

A pool of 144 champions (currently) and eleven of them have no CC in their kit.

Zed Talon Sivir MasterYi Mordekaiser Lucian Katarina Kaisa Ezreal Corki Akali

That would mean Riot would have to, in some way, adjust the kits of over 130 champions if they tinkered with crowd control in any way. There is already enough controversy surrounding balance, messing with such a heavily-integrated part of League now would only make matters worse.

I'm not sure why you're calling it a CC "creep" when fact of the matter League has almost completely gotten rid of point and click CC and is instead now favoring it in terms of a skillshot, ability combo or interactions with elements (walls). I mean do we forget how Nunu could snowball and keep you perma slowed, how sion's gaze had a guaranteed CC with a 100% AP ratio, how Warwick's ultimate was a point and click hard CC. Those are original champions released in beta who all had hard CC that have been changed.

If we take a look at the next one on the list Ryze (also one of the original 17 champions) is getting his root changed -- instead of a guaranteed root you are now required to have the flux debuff on the enemy champion (the duration is also a lot lower than the original released Ryze).

So yes it might feel like each champion has a lot more CC but the way the current CC is being implemented offers a lot more counterplay and interaction and is actually quite healthy for the game.

We need more CC if anything. I miss the days when Assassin champs had to use positioning and cleverness to attack someone, because just charging forward in broad daylight got them locked down and melted. Nerfing CC made Assassins too easy-mode.
