After the Aram event is over, riot will be switching back to the original Aram map... but why? In my opinion Butchers Bridge is fantastic; it is more polished with it's animations and it overall just looks better in my opinion. After the event, maybe each Aram game has 50/50 chance of being either either map because I know that not everyone likes butcher Bridge.

Please no. There were some major clarity issues the last time Butcher's Bridge was around (e.g. the orange-skinned Mark was almost invisible). Howling Abyss has its own set of clarity problems, but not nearly to the same extent.
I think that instead of taking out an entire map, maybe Riot could instead add an option in the last 10 or so seconds of the champ select screen where every player can instead vote for which map to play on, whether it being Butchers Bridge or Howling Abyss. Seeing as when you join an aram game, you have a minute or so to re-roll or build a rune page suitable for the champ you roll. And if the votes were even then they could have a 50/50 chance of being either one.
I really dislike the map but i absolutely hate anything pirate themed so...
how about this: i know riot sucks at giving their players free choice, but what if they give us the option to turn on/off the map skin? off means snow aram, on means bilgewater aram
Yeah no offense to Riot and whoever has a hard on for frozen tundra stuff, but [the current map] is fucking bland and drab and just not fun to look at. I welcome a more colorful landscape. Some people make the argument that "oh I don't like pirate stuff so, no." but I have ALWAYS hated how bleh the current aram map is.
