why does autofill exist even?
like i rather sit in que to wait a little longer to get my lane then get in a match faster but not on my main role. i just want my role, i dont want other role . simple as that.

Because when there was pure role selection, queue times balloned out of control to the point where getting hour long waits was the norm if you got to the upper echelon of the game.
That said, that could have also been caused by the duo queue system in junction with role select making it so that no one picked support

I know the full on reason hear me out: if the stupid, useless garbage can't go mid and is forced by system to go support while you pick assasin mid get lead meanwhile in your feeding botlane - surprise! you appear with already finished item and oneshot enemy adc to help your bot ease and farm and most importantly get you even more ahead and maybe tilt the botlane and mid little bit... if not autofill those feeders would play mid and feed it every single game and imo mid is one of the strongest lanes to get fed on so be greatfull for that
Because most people are casual gamers who dont care about climbing, they play for fun. most people on league dont even play ranked and dont take the game seriously.
Nah it's so you get filled people on your team who give up and then people on here go "get gud" "it's your fault your teammate raged from being autofilled"
Because your "little longer" translates into staying in queue an extra 30mins-1hr, and rising queue times.
