Why do tier 3 runes cost so much?it makes it so hard to try go balance runes and getting champions.One full t3 rune page is almost 10k ip or more! If someone could share some light as to why they though that they would make it so hard to get runes then
LostFr0st2 votesThey are reworking the whole rune system this fall. It's not worth the resources to adjust stuff right now. Tier 2 are almost as good and 1ip each anyways.

9 ad reds, 3 as quints or 3 ad quints, 9 flat armor , 9 flat mr 9 magic pen reds, 3 ap quints, 9 flat armor 9 flat mr
these are base generic pages that will work for 98% of champs and a good way to start while you build your ip and expand your rune page

YEAH two basic rune pages only cost 9k IP. nvm that a new champion costs 6300 ip. or 7$ if you're going for rp prices. so two BASIC rune pages that ensure that you don't have the shittiest most awful time in game is valued at $10( if it could be bought with rp)
but no, you can't buy overpriced runes with rp anyway. riot wants to squeeze as much play time out of you as they can.
9 cdr glyphs costs 7200 ip alone. thats fucking insanity.
hp quints cost 6150 for 3
this shit is stupidly overpriced, and unless you play this game every day for years with a solid w/l ratio, you will NEVER have all of the runes you could need/want
and thats with the shit runes like death time removed.
oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votesok well 1st off you cant get runes with RP so comparing it to champs and the correlation to RP and actual $ is null and void here.
2ndly champs are either ad or ap ... those basic rune pages will work. and how is it over priced if its something you get for free just for playing the game. they give you free in game currency ( IP ) to do with as you please. and they have reduced the cost of all tier 1 and 2 runes to make it easier for people who just are starting out. and they have also reduced the cost of alot of the tier runes.
3rd of course RIOT wants you to play their game... why would any company not want to get you to play as long and as often as possible?
and i typically have so much IP with nothing to do with it. i have all the runes and rune pages i can use. two weeks ago i used about 18000 IP on mystery shards for hextech cuz i had nothing else to spend it on. now that there are two new champs i will need more IP to get those but since i used all that IP im already back up to about 5000
and what i suggested is a way for someone to get two basic full rune pages for as cheap as possible. i didnt defend the runes or cost or anythign about it. i simply stated something that could be used to help people out.
also with the amount of cdr in items in game and you get 5% from masteries ( if you chose to do so ) the need to run cdr runes is not as needed as before
