What low elo s8 support?
Considering the changes to the game, what support champion(s) would you main, if you were to try and get from bronze to silver or gold in s8 in soloqueue? :)

Sona, Soraka and Tahm Kench are my choices if I played supp. But its really just a matter of perspective on what you want to play, like to play or can play more.

For simple supports, I recommend Blitzcrank, Soraka, or Annie.
For difficult champions, I recommend Thresh, Taric, Alistar, Janna, Bard, or Rakan.
It all depends on your play style.
Backline: Soraka, Janna, Lulu, Sona, Karma, Lux
Mix: Morgana, Nami, Zilean, Zyra, Brand, Annie, Bard, Rakan, Blitzcrank
Aggressive: Braum, Leona, Thresh, Nautilus, Taric, Alistar, Tahm Kench
Morgana would be my pick, fairly sustained with good pick potential.
Play what you are good at. Down here, the meta is not that important.
Anything you enjoy and will continue enjoying for a long time to come. Pick about 2-3 champions, and master them. The second you did that, you'll start learning about the game. Different champions will teach you different things. The champions don't matter, so long you play them well.
Like Sky once said... Before something can be out of meta, you need to be in the meta first. What works in bronze and diamond is completely different. Following the meta and the FOTM (flavour of the month) is generally a noobtrap. Don't fall for it. Play what you're good at and what you enjoy.
Personally, I really like Nami and Rakan- both a mix of defense and offense, with lots of options and potential playstyles. Have to sit back and survive? Heals and shields will take care of that. Engage? Check. Kill potential? Check.
Melee supports are king right now.
Leona, Shen, Tahm kench.
Great cc/map control/Roaming and good damage. Really cant go wrong as long as you play smart.
Ban Sona or soraka.
Win/Bully lane 9 times out of 10
supports like sona are way too squishy right now.Something like nautilus,alistar and lulu and morgana,leona are strong picks,however they can be tricky sometimes so better practice them a little before playing them
