Need help understanding more of how League's ranking system works. Please?
**I am currently a Silver IV - How do the demotions and promotions work, along with the series? Any more information will be greatly appreciated! **

Deep Terror Nami1 votesI can probably answer any specific questions you have, but first you'll want to read up on Riot's support articles that explain it all;

Dreadlocks1 votesget 100LP win 2/3 or 3/5 in your series get promoted. If you fail your promos you go back to the division you were in with less LP depending if you went 0/2 or 1/2. Then After you get promoted you have breathing room, you can lose your first 2-4 games and not get demoted (depends) but if you win you first game after getting promoted then lose games at 0LP you will likely get demoted 9/10 times
