Whenever I play a mage (etc. lux, zoe, annie) and I get matched against an assassin (etc.yasuo or zed), there is no chance of outplay, which results a salty and unfun game. Please give mages some more armor.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs] But, on the other hand, if mages get too much armor then it would be bad for assassins. Please balance it a bit
As a mage main, i can assure you that good positioning will prevent any normal assassin from doing anything. There are exceptions of course, like Zed and Yasuo.
When playing against a zed, you WILL lose in a 1v1. Don't try to all in him. You will lose. All you have to do against zed is play it safe and farm. When you've farmed enough, you can start roaming to other lanes to help them. When the teamfight comes, wait for Zed to ult, then stun him when he becomes targetable and burst him. Easy shutdown!
Against a yauso, stand to the side of the minions, far enough to where he can't dash on to you. If he tries to chase without minions, he will most likely end up getting stunned and killed. Once again with yasuo though, you can't fight him in a 1v1 as a mage. He is, however vulnerable to ganks, so a good jungler will always be able to get a free kill on him when he over extends.
