Kassadin - simple and satisfying change

Idea is simple: When kassadin is jumping on enemies using his 4th stack of ultimate (800 mana) he silences them for 1 sec.

This chamge will make him stronger a bit and will support the risk-reward jumping kassadin playstyle.

I have a better change. Increase Kassadin's base damages by 50% because he is no longer the king of mobility on summoners rift.

Kassadin :"I tried to silence my mother(riot) once. Boy, did I regret that."

Haveing a part of his core identity back sure is a step in the right direction

We could also give him MR per level so his passive actually benefits instead of being compensation more of.

My 2 cents are, kassadin needs more flat dmg. Hes a late game monster who late game his dmg is non existent. Well he was supposed to be a monster, for this to happen he needs dmg. So I would say higher ratios, and increased base dmg from riftwalk.

( Edit: make his last rift walk do a pun of dmg)

I mean if they just made his shield from Q block CC as well I think he would be in alot better position than he is right now.

I could see this working, I don't really play Kassadin (or Mid in general), but having to spend 800 mana and going into melee range for a one-second silence is not OP in any way at all imo depending on how many targets you actually hit, because in higher levels of play people are pretty spread out. In fact, I would propose possibly increasing the silence to 1.25 and 1.5 by ranks 2 and 3, just to maybe make the trade-off a bit more even. Kassadin mains, or Mid mains in general, what do you think?

I think silences re-implemented on certain assassins in this way or another could be a lot healthier than compared to a low risk/high reward ability like Talon's E, Leblanc's Q, and Kassadin's Q, which were all ranged point-and-click abilities that created the "Silences are unhealthy for Assassins" trend in the first place anyway.

Honestly I don't think any buff to Kassadin should be to his ult when his other skills are so lackluster. Just give his E a longer slow time, or maybe increase the number of stacks but take away the cooldown (like Shyv's ult), or give Q some kind of CC, or just increase his across the board damage

they need to take the charges off of his e.like its not that good of a spell to need to wait the cd and have 5 spells go off around him.

As someone who doesn't even play Kassadin, I'd support this buff. Tbh I'd even be happy if they put his silence back on his Q using the 6 charge effect from his E, and giving his E a normal CD.

Why not just let his melee empowered attack silence people for one second? He's supposed to get close right?

CasterGilgamesh10/7/2015, 11:52:47 PM1 votes

riot should just make his E be an execute ability where it does extra magic damage based on missing health and increase the base health on the spell shield

LadyRenly10/8/2015, 12:00:52 AM1 votes

I'd rather not encourage him to spam his ult. It's not something I want to have to be micromanaging in order to deal efficient and optimal damage. Silence would just throw it overboard

" We removed silence from assasins because it offered no counterplay and let assasins trade for free!" Yeah, lets just give it back to him, what could possibly go wrong.
