Lyte didn't ruin this community...

The vocal minority that have paper thin skin did.

"If you say GGEZ then you are a terrible person and you deserve to be BANNED." "If you say GG after a win that wasn't ULTRA close then you deserve to be BANNED." "If you ping me too many times you are a nazi and deserve to be BANNED." "If you say 'cancer' you are hurting my feelings because my great-great-great-great-great grandfather DIED of cancer, I hope you get BANNED."

If you people really can't handle how people talk and act in video games, maybe don't play video games.

Steph Curry doesn't deserve a ban from the NBA for telling other players "good game, but it was super damn easy" after the game. Because you know what, it might have been. Suck it up, play more, get better, prove him wrong.

Also, just stop reporting people for this. They don't get banned. You just make yourself look childish. Not to mention every false ban you send in, you have a lower chance of ACTUALLY making a difference when that racist raging 17 year old comes along. Just remember that.

Lyte didn't ruin this community, the toxic players thinking it is ok to be an asshole out of the blue did.

Just like OP himself.

Nope, this is called victim blaming.

Just be a nice person online and stop saying things you never would to a stranger on the street.

you can yell at the screen all you want you don't have to type it. you decided to be a douche suffer the consequences.

I like to play video games with a lots of different people, I don't want it to only be douches like you. If everyone online is just people that can "handle video games" then it would be awful. firstly limited the number of people that can play to just "true gamers" is exactly what a company like riot doesn't want to do infact I bet no game wants to do that. Also I wouldn't get to play the game with my little brother, my girlfriend, her friends, my other female friends, my mother my dad anyone you wouldn't call a "true gamer". stop being exclusionary to others just because of the imaginary idea about a "community"

Some of the things you listed are not report worthy I would hope a banning system would take that into account. I do get annoyed at GG ez when it is a close game but I feel gg is important and should be said at the end of every game.

Do you regularly talk about cancer and nazi's and tell people on the street to kill themselves. The one I tell people to stop using, although I don't report them for it, is ra pe. there is no need to say it just control yourself and stop being so anti social.

I get it you want to be free and express yourself however you want... perhaps you should play single player games then.... because playing league of legends you aren't just sitting at home in your underwear you are in a public space that is the game.

"If you say GGEZ then you are a terrible person and you deserve to be BANNED."

Bad manners. Shouldn't be bannable, but should exclude you from good behavior rewards. Maybe cause you to have to queue with other BM players.

"If you say GG after a win that wasn't ULTRA close then you deserve to be BANNED."

I say GG after every game that was 5v5. It's customary, like saying shaking hands or something. I've never seen anyone get offended, mostly just say "bg" if they had a troll or a feeder.

"If you ping me too many times you are a nazi and deserve to be BANNED."

This just seems like something you're making up. If people really do get in trouble for pinging, that's stupid.

"If you say 'cancer' you are hurting my feelings because my great-great-great-great-great grandfather DIED of cancer, I hope you get BANNED."

This should be contextual. Calling a champion or a kit "cancer" shouldn't be punishable, since it's the internet equivalent of expressing an opinion like "Skittles are gross." Calling a player cancer because they're not good, or because they're doing too good is BM.

You'll just get downvoted until the post is deleted. Unfortunately for Riot, they have one of the most cancerous communities in all of gaming, and that's saying a lot. A lot of Riot's stats are falsified as well, such as the "only 0.06% of players are egregiously toxic enough to be permanently banned." We all know it's much more than 0.06%.

saying gg after a match is good sportsmanship.Saying ggez is not. And unsportsman like conduct is a reportable offense so why cant some people just drop the ez part. IT damn sure makes you look like an ass. Dont get me wrong im down for a little trash talk during the match and im fine with that and after awhile you can tell who will get offended and who might not hell it makes the game mre fun sometimes but also if you do it is a fine line that you have to walk or you will get reported and yes some people are over sensitive to say the least.

Its hilarious that people really want you to get banned for saying "ez" after the game.

people arent hating lyte because of bans or the tribunal.

im pretty sure all of this comes from him introducing dynamic que to the game while removing solo que. then they promised to reintroduce solo que and just went back on their promise.

I agree. Riot is not focusing on the main issue in this game.. Chat is one part, guess what, that's what mute and a filter is for. The main issue is players who either AFK during a game, or generally make the game "Un fun" by intentionally feeding or other sorts of in game ruining issues. They aren't cracking down on those Trolls in ranked (where games really matter) nor do they seem like they even CARE.

But the moment says GG EZ or F you Ng Fg They immediately do something about it because they can automate that system and not give a shit. They claim that there's a system in place for intentional feeders, but even a rioter on reddit has said it's not a good system and takes forever.. but guess what, the feeders damage has already been done by the time their system decides it wants to take action.. If they want this game played on ESPN they will need to actually crack down on those ruining games or trolling.

People on League are sensitive bro.. generally because the game attracts a younger crowd.
