Having some ocular issues with what I can only assume is the new Ezreal W on tower (in HA)

Anyone else go through this? Here is as much info as I can possibly think to provide. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I also submitted the following text as a ticket to Riot to find out if it's just me or not.

Just played a match with Ezreal on what I can only assume is a brand new skin. The skin itself is pretty awesome. The only problem I have with it is that when he W's a tower and the cross appears I am temporarily blinded/mini seizure is the only way I can describe it.

The match was on Howling Abyss (blue background instead of green). I don't know if he had a chroma or if there even is a chroma for the skin.

It doesn't mess up anything in game. Doesn't affect game play. My screen doesn't lag or stutter. It's just really really bright for a very quick instant.

I am not colorblind, epileptic, relatively perfect eye sight (I don't wear or need glasses), etc. No issues. Been using the same PC and monitor for a couple of months now and my hardware is not failing in any way.

My monitor is a 1080p 60hz TN panel hooked up to an RX 480 4GB via HDMI cable. My frame rate is capped at 60 FPS and until this particular match, I turned my spell effect to very low (unfortunately I didn't think to do this until we had their towers down so I can't confirm if it made a difference).

I'm only trying to bring this to attention because I'm concerned for people who might actually have epilepsy. I'm assuming it's been play tested enough that it was able to be release.

My displeasure only occurred when I saw the giant cross on the tower which I can only assume is the Ezreal W, because it wasn't happening when I (illaoi) used Demolish on a tower. The Udyr in the match also confirmed that it was making his eyes hurt.
