champ shards or whatever

is not supposed that if you get s-, s, s+ you get a champ shard? i mean i have champs stucked at m5 with 1 m6 shard earned :| idk if this is the right board to ask this

Champ shards are not the same thing as mastery tokens. No champ shards mate unless you buy that hextech item in the store to get a random one or get it through opening a chest! S- and above on a mastery level 5 champ will get you champ mastery level 6 token, and getting an S and above on a champ mastery level 6 will get you mastery level 7 tokens.

But yes, unless you have the max amount of tokens on that champ already, you should be getting a token, or unless you got the S- and above grade in the same game you got that champ to level 5. Then the system doesn't acknowledge it because you were lev 4 before the game.

ok ok i meant champ mastery. but i got sometimes an S and i dont get anything :|

Were those S's earned in normals, aram, or rotating game modes? You CANNOT receive a token in ARAM and I'm pretty sure same thing applies to rotating game modes so that may be why
