Sweeping Lens and Poppy's charge

Two things I've been thinking about of late.

If I drop a sweeping lens before a ward has gone stealth the ward vanishes for a millisecond when it does go stealth. I'm not sure if that would affect my ability to target the ward for that millisecond? It doesn't look good.

Poppy's charge will move a movable object, but it is not considered contact until her hammer swings or the charge is met with terrain. This means there are times when I cannot sustain Paragon of Demacia. Boo hoo right? Maybe. But why is it that when I am clearly moving a movable object it isn't immediately considered contact? At least it should be where Paragon of Demacia is concerned.
