Got 4 wins out of 7 games in provisional and got silver
I don't understand why I was placed silver 4 after a 4 wins provisionals. Can anyone explain?

BruisingEmu2 votesWhat rank were you before? If you weren't placed at all last season Silver isn't a bad start. If you were in Silver last season it makes sense. If you were Gold last season it's a bit harsh, but not something that cant happen. If you were Bronze last season you must've matched up with some higher elo people and it thinks you can hold out in Silver. Good job!
My experience is that when people first start ranked it puts most of them in Silver or Bronze.
