With Shen, it appears that in the future we are seeing incoming nerfs. Now, at gold elo, with shen, I can still only manage around a 40-45% winrate, despite having level 7 on him. These nerfs are going to be a repeat of what once was. Even the pros have stated that he isn't going to particularly beat anyone down (in his current state) but due to his global ultimate, he's going to be nerfed down in lane even more. I implore you to rethink this. It's not his laning that is overpowered, nor was it before his rework, or his rework before his rework. It's always been that global ultimate, and that's been addressed in the past. He's a high pick rate because a team of five people can always utilize that in a voice chat at the professional level of play. The other 99.9% of the community does not have such luxuries.

I know you don't care about the opinion of some gold nobody, but i believe the community will agree. Unless you give some REAL scaling with damage, there will be no one that builds dps, he will just go obsolete. Before his rework, other pro teams discussed tactics while using shen, and even then he wasnt picked because he was just too weak. Don't make the community in general suffer because it has already been agreed and decreed. Fix it. Put some real damage scaling on him and incentivize doing damage. Then we can see where this goes.

Riot always seems completely oblivious to how to handle champion tweaking. They can literally just give Shen the Teleport treatment. Increase the channel time of his ult by 0.5 - 1.0 seconds and problem solved; he won't be as abused in pro play. Hell, you could even have the channel time decrease with ult rank. Increase it by 1 second at rank 1, 0.5 seconds at rank 2, and back down to normal at rank 3.

There. 1 minute of brainstorming. I'll take payment in check form. What other champions need some balancing?

I have a dream, that one day, I can build, a hextech gunblade on shen as a first item, and have it be worth it!

Shen is supposed to stand for balance, neither emboldened by good, nor corrupted by evil. Riot should learn a thing or two from Shen XD

Joke aside, the nerfs are a bit too much. It affects non pros too much. Not worth in my opinion to nerf the poor guy.

I can understand why Riot nerfs him so hard. Look at someone like Jhin for instance. He can dish out absurd amount of damage, so you have to focus him down very quickly. If you have someone like Shen, this becomes extremely difficult to do. High burst champs+Shen ult=cancer.
