What do you do to carry games?

Right now I have 3 accounts, all stuck in silver 3. On 2 out of the 3 accounts, I get matched up with braindead people who act like a chicken that had it's head cut off seconds before the game. It's hard to carry these people, when even if I gank them and get them really far ahead, they can't do anything and end up feeding because of overconfidence or just bad plays. How do I make it to where my individual skill reflects my rank? How do I carry as jungle? It seems as if my tactics a few weeks ago on one of my accounts was working really well, but now - not so much. It seems like I'm getting games where all 3 lanes are losing even if I've ganked one for the 3rd time and pinged omw before I go in, and yet still no follow up. I expect a lot out of my teammates - to not feed, to look at map, ward, sweep wards, and kite/disengage in teamfights properly. Now while I can do these pretty well and I have a good, solid "gold" mechanical skill, I can't advance the games I play so my teammates have those same traits too. I watch my replays, and replays of pros to understand what I'm doing wrong and that's helped a LOT. I now ward 3 to 5 times as much, gank much more effectively, and outplay opponents more than I used to.

TL;DR I feel like I'm good, because I have a solid raw mechanical skill, but I get queued with what seems like braindead zombies, who tunnel for the win and cannot analyze how to get to the end of the tunnel.

When I was in Silver, I just played mostly Ziggs mid and Varus ADC.

I found that most games devolved into a constant siege with both teams aimlessly grouping around objectives for minutes at a time until someone was caught out. Those champions let me waveclear indefinitely, poke down the opposing team and have the CC needed to (dis)engage fights.

If you are trying to carry as a jungler, I would probably recommend picking a tank and becoming nigh-impossible to kill. I found that Silver team compositions were generally very damage-heavy (everyone trying to play a carry), leaving them without any real frontline or CC.

If you are difficult to kill, you basically give your damage dealers free-reign and it leaves you free to do whatever the hell you want to do.

I would recommend trying to following since they provide good CC and damage.: Gragas Zac Sejuani Amumu

2 ways to carry (as a jungler)

  1. Play a cc tank and make teamfights brain dead easy for your team through solid initiation on your part.

  2. Play damage dealers who can spltpush and duel well. And Just. Keep. Pushing

unless you happen to main a champ that can easily carry. or really feeling like learning one and making it your new main. the best thing you can do is.. do your best. if you deserve to climb... you will. the ability of the champ you play to carry really only speeds up or slows down that process.. your still GOING to climb..

you just may get there the long way around. hell even this season i started in bronze 2 (because you know the game decides to knock me from silver 2 to bronze 2 for no apparent reason after the season starts)

and although i stopped playing ranked after i reach silver becuase of dynamic que and i didn't want to bother trying to reach gold in a season that would mean nothing if i finally did).. DURING my climb to silver 5, i fell all the way to down bronze 4 with 0 lp at one point.

you are GOING to get games that are unwinnable because of the teammates you have. and sometimes .... they are going to happen 2,3,4 even 5 games in a row.. and there really isn't anything you can do about it..

but you WILL climb. my climb to silver 5 from bronze.. was actually done on support... and the REASON it took me so long.. was because it wouldn't GIVE me my main.. EVER

which is why if you view my ranked profile this season it looks like I'm a support main... not a jungle main... becuase i'm a support secondary..

First i go for the OBJ, then once I get the OBJ, I go for the second OBJ, after I get the second OBJ, I get the third OBJ.

if you have 3 accounts stuck in silver you aren't good and you don't have mechanical skill

Splitpush. Honestly, that's the best option you can do to win the game by yourself. I play ADC/Support a lot, so when I get jungle or top, I try to play people that are decent on their own. Illaoi can split pretty well and can even 1v5 if everything goes well. Amumu is more of a teamfighter, but he offers a ton of CC so if I hit someone important, I'm most likely blowing one of their summoners if not keeping them in place for a kill.
