Okay, here's what I got.

And I have yet to see another Viktor in-game.
Is he still a good champion? Has he fallen out of favor for other champions, or am I just imagining things?
Romans VI XXIII3 votesI main vik. he is a strong pic, but he has a very high skill cap, and learning curve. But once you have figured him out you can easily dominate your lane and then proceed to snowball your team.
I'm glad he isn't picked alot, and honestly every time I see him in the LCS I root for the other team, I don't want people to find out how strong he really is which will lead to QQ threads, and possible nerfs.
Vik is strong but has lots of counter play. If you want to pick him up and start playing him, its gunna take some time to get descent with him. But its well worth the work.

He can be tanky since he can build maybe one or two AP items because of his Hexcore and then build armor/health/MR.
usul12021 votesViktor is wonderful, and if you let everyone know then the small group of Viktor mains will lazer your face off when he gets nerfed. learn to aim that E and place the W, and you're golden.
Zaphy1 votesI don't usually rely on Viktor's W to set up combos. Early game I alternate between using his Q and E to poke as much as possible, although I try to use the Q more for mana management. The only real time I use his W is to escape situations, such as a gank when I overextend; in a teamfight, when the other team is too busy to mind Viktor's W; and when the enemy attempts a towerdive on me. Basically, I mainly use the W defensively; I use its stun to prevent whoever is attacking me from doing more damage, while I retaliate with my own damage.
usul12021 votesYou're right on with the Q poke, much more mana efficient. The W can be used a bit more aggressively though. If you're laning against a Darius or riven, an aggressive melee who wants to all-in you, place it when they go for minions. Ideally its placed where they're in it (moving in for the CS) but it's more centered on the minion, so that they have to go through it all to get to you. Best done on the cannon minions. It lets you get a few more free hits in, and will generally aggro your own minions as well, if the timing is right.
