I was playing as veiger in a summoner's rift game about a half hour ago. while playing kat seemed to get way stronger than normal. she iterally walked over the walls of my stuns without any trouble at least 10 times. even with serious mr she would land her e and i would already be dead every time. please nerf this broken champ. kat is nowhere near fair to play against as any champion.
Well katarina counters veigar, and im sure if you were a good veigar youd play safe, farm up and wait till you one shot people with your combo (or even ult alone).
veigar is nerfed to the point of being unplayable. Any champ would prove difficult to handle when you're playing a weak champ =[
You say you had MR, yet your last game against Katarina you had none built. Even without looking at your runes / masteries, there's no combination that's going to give you enough mr to not be 'squishy' to Katarina.
