Spell shield?

ThiccNugg8/5/2014, 11:43:55 PM4 votes

I think her ult should be used more proactively than re-actively, her spell shield is for reactive plays.

Probably because it's an AoE speed boost and having it also be an AoE movement impairment cleanse would be overkill.

Granted, she could be the only one to break free, but since it's also a speed boost that may be extremely OP when ahead/chasing someone down.

Would be a nice touch, but I think she is fine where she is now to be honest.

He has a point. It's not as if the R gives her attack speed on activation (i.e. Yi), so it seems reasonable that it would allow her to break free of slows as well. Of course, CC applied later would have its full effect. I actually quite like the sound of it. Sivir has short range as it is, and the R is used almost exclusively for chasing down a kill or disengaging... it doesn't seem like too much of a feat to make this a reality.

So that she can be slowed while chasing/running, otherwise she'd just be... Kassadin.

I'd rather they just ungut the rest of her kit and give her at least 1 ADC-type steroid on 1 skill (and no the 80% AS increase on 3 attacks is not a steroid).

Knight SoIaire 8/5/2014, 1:18:35 PM2 votes

cause it makes no sence

KingGeovanni8/5/2014, 8:31:33 PM2 votes

where is the champion uniqueness if you want things on other champions just cause one or 2 other champs have the skill. i would very much like a cleanse on braum's w when he jumps to an ally.

AriesLink8/5/2014, 9:21:58 PM2 votes

I don't agree with a cleanse, but I think it should be similar to Garen's Q: grants movement speed and breaks free of slows when used, but can still be slowed after it's initial effect takes place.

Camphene8/5/2014, 11:21:04 PM2 votes

It would be even more ridiculously over powered.

Sivir's ranged = stay out of it, dodge when u can, SS when u can't.

Love On the Hunt. OP versatility! Chase; escape; initiate; +MvmtS Sivir's allies; +AtkS on Ricochet.

With item 3069 and R, Sivir pushes waves for days. Big fast ones that smash into things.

cuz it's gay like that >.>

I could see that being a reasonable buff if it only broke her free of slows. I don't know how op it would be to brake her free of other types of cc, I think that would need to be tested. Also, the cc break would only affect her. I think this could be a good idea since sivir is on the lower end of adc's at the moment.

KawaiiKatKhazix8/6/2014, 3:36:28 PM1 votes

She has a spell shield, if you got slowed its generally because misuse of shield.

FaerKhan8/6/2014, 6:21:44 PM1 votes

You did see what happened when Lucian had a cleanse on a movespeed ability, right?

MrPessimist8/5/2014, 8:22:14 PM1 votes

I don't see why it shouldn't. It would be just like Eve's W. Which is used for chasing down or disengage (but on for Sivir).

HigeR8/7/2014, 2:26:58 AM1 votes

I've always felt like her ult is a little lacking, this would be pretty interesting to have though as everyone have said it might overlap with spellshield a bit, what if activating your ult would reset spellshield cd? would that be too OP? it'd be more tied to correct timing and less Olaf-y or master yi-y (lel)

FluxBound8/12/2014, 7:09:19 AM1 votes

For who, everyone or just her and what about Ryze, Singed, or MasterYi? they have the same kind of ult

Remlap12238/5/2014, 9:19:46 PM1 votes

I'd be all for it if it was only her. Heck, I'd go for complete CC removal, since it's an ultimate. If they upped the cooldown as a result and allowed CC or just slow removal, I'd be completely cool with that. I could take it or leave it though.
