The ranking of the ranked games

I seriously that the ranking of this is utter bullshit. Apparently when you go 6/4 in your ranked games, you get put in bronze V but when you go 7/3 you get to be put in silver II. You see the gap there? That big ass gap between the lowest to the second highest? you basically, from BV, skip about 9 or 8 divisions right there. I went 6/4 for my proms and I get put in the lowest ranking. Riot, what is that bullshit? you really should fix that ranking system right there and I'm pretty sure that many other LoL players out there are having this same compliant.why can't you make it that if you get more than 5 wins in ranked that your going to be in a low elo silver? This alone pissed me off and actually made me restless because of the amount of utter bull. I actually cried and now I'm back were I once was but worse. Thanks Riot for having the worst ranking system in promos ever!

This season what Tier/Division you are placed in is far more dependent on your MMR than how you did in the Placement Matches (compared to previous seasons). In other words; if your MMR is bad, you're going to get a low placement even if you do well in the matches. If your MMR is good, you will probably be placed just under where you were before even if you don't do so great.

Do you realize that sheer numbers of your win-loss in placements do not mean anything? Things that matter:

  • Your MMR before the reset (or the lack of it for "fresh" accounts)
  • The order in which you win/lose your placements. Importance of your placement matches starts with the 1st match being the most important and the last being the least.
