Magic resist items compared to Armor items

There aren't really that many good magic resist items, most of them give mr and some other stat when i would like to have a good mr hp item. spirits visage isnt very useful on champions without healing abilities and adaptive helm has a pretty useless passive against certain champions like burts mages. abyssal isnt that good when you have a mostly ad team.

all the item passives are very situational.

Lets compare to armor health items.

Sunfirecape gives more armor than either mr item and has a very useful passive doesn't really matter what you play on / against Deadmans plate is just the better sunfire cape because movement is super important. Randuin is also very good against crit champs like yasuo, trynd or adc's. Rightous Glory is an essential item for some champions that dont have mobility but need to get close to deal damage, very good on champions like Skarner or nasus. Gives a lot of good stats like cdr, hp mana and armor. And lastly Thornmail. Gives grevious wounds, Most armor from all health armor items, Passive is also useful against full ad champions.

so lets combine items

If you were to play against Full ad and full ap comps and only built resist items.

Against full ad you could get 320 armor (if you add ninja tabi) You get 1900hp Good movementspeed passive and active (from Deadmans and Rightous Glory) Ok wave clear and sustained dmg from Sunfire crit resist and Grevious wounds (from Thornmail and Randuin) while also getting passive damage against attackers (helps with clearing jungle camps a lot) You also get useful stats Like cdr, mana and health regen from Rightous glory

Now for against full AP comps You get 190 MR From items and boots. 1150 hp Same amout of CDR and health regen

But all the passives are very situational. if you go against a fed diana when you are playing a champion with no self heals and doesnt deal ap dmg from abilities you dont really have any viable options, Most of these passives arent even that good on champions that can use them.

So what can you build against a full ap enemy comp if you are an ad champion without self heals or sustain. Your options are witsend maw and adaptive helm.

CAN WE PLEASE HAVE MORE USEFUL MR HEALTH ITEMS??!!

This is part of the reason people feel that mage champions are broken, there are only a few ways to build against them while ad is a whole different story
