I was wandering how runeglaive fizz would work?

would preferably be mid lane

i think it is just like a cheaper lichbane, at the price of some AP i think

but it also gives you a smite that can be good for ganking

He would give up kill pressure, which is what he is good for. Unless you drop flash for the smite but then that leaves you vulnerable to ganks if/when you all-in.

I like Runeglaive Fizz in the jungle, but mid he is better off just going for a lichbane.

and how does he compare in the jungle to other champions like shyvana and rengar? (they are just the champs i play in the jungle)

his clear is actually really good as are his ganks (especially post 6 if you can land the ult).

I go Smite + Ignite, since in the jungle he doesn't really need flash to escape since he has his E. Adds way more kill pressure when invading or ganking.

His build path is EXTREMELY flexible too. He only needs 2-3 offensive items to kill people, so he can get rather beefy late game. Or can just go full damage to ensure he kills whomever he targets.

item 3930 item 3153 item 3111 item 3110 item 3102 item 3143 is probably the more common way to play him as he does really well with on hits (and his W has an on hit) Leads to more mixed damage and better sustained damage in a fight

I play him like this generally though as I really like flat out bursting a target, and surviving long enough to burst another. item 3708 item 3157 item 3158 item 3001 item 3110 item 3102 (potentially a GA to replace one of the latter 2 items and replace runeglaive with lichbane if the game goes on that long)
