about the Soraka nerf

So.. Riot plans to nerf Soraka pretty hard because of high winrate in lane where she doesn't originally belong. So what does Riot expect soraka players to do in BOT lane against Leona, Nautilus, Pyke, Thresh atc. after the nerf. Because so far it has been somewhat balanced in terms of support. But the nerfs will obviously affect her botlane perfomance. I suppose that by ''pretty hard'' Riot means to completely disable her top lane viability regardless of her stance in actual lane where she belongs. As a Soraka SUPPORT main, I believe I am rightfully afraid that she will be absolutely worthless in botlane after nerf because let' s be honest, the balance hasn't been so great lately (Aphelios, Senna, SETT, Diana, SETT, Akali, SETT). I just don't want to be forced to not play soraka at all. Because I already imagine how frustrating it will be. Soraka bot so far is fine. Nerf her top but PLEASE for the love of bananas try not to ruin it. Bcs else I just feel cheated for actually investing time and money into that champion, and I will have to move to 20% hp instakill support with stealth - like that sounds hella balanced

I recently started playing Sokara, safe to say she was becoming my main as well. This upcoming nerf has me scared as well that she'll be very ineffective for where she is meant to be played, as Support, because people had to ruin her up at Top :(

I doubt much will change in the engage support meta.

You're still going to have to make the engage support burn their engage before you get to engage. (Isn't it so fun when you have to wait for your opponent to make a move?)

You're still not going to be able to kill the enemy side unless they seriously mess up.

You're still not going to get ganks because that lane is unkillable and a waste for your jungler, but you will still get ganked since the chance of success for them is high because if you make one wrong move, you're dead.

Basically, you're still stuck in a tedious lane exchanging light harass and staring at your opponent. Riot considers this peak gameplay.

I have a million mastery points on Soraka and love playing her, but this engage support meta is testing my patience. The mage meta was brainless, but the engage support meta is brainless **AND **boring.

I don't have a problem with Thresh so much. His hitbox is BS. It has always been, but every time I get hit by a Nautilus hook that should not have hit and I have to waste flash or die, I have an out of body experience and I'm amazed that this game still cannot get hitboxes right in 2020.

Yes, for the love of God, please don't nerf her. I will have nothing left to play if they nerf her. I finally found a main after starting my experience with League of Legends last season and have had a considerable success with her (I'm still bad at the game but meh, whatever, let people be bronze) to the point I am comfortable playing her into most matchups. Ofc, there are other champions I would love to play but none of them are really meta rn and I hate engage supports. As a girl design is important to me so I don't wanna play those Pykes, Nautiluses etc. Soraka at least is somewhat reliable against them if you position well. Still Nami feels like a better choice for enchanter support but Soraka works too I guess, you win some, you lose some. If she gets even a slight nerf I feel like she would end up being another useless champion like Sona or Yuumi and I'm already told not to pick Soraka sometimes just beacuse "she doesn't do damage nor is she aggresive". Yeah, thank you pro play for using a balanced in its role champion in a way that it was never meant to be played. Even though I made another account to pick up top recently I have never even thought of playing Soraka top. I had a pleasure to play against her top once (though she wasn't in my lane cause I don't play top in ranked just yet). She felt pretty useless in and out of lane.

Eh, I think I should really just switch to top because at least Sett is fun to play (and visually pleasant) but I guess they will nerf him to ground too. Nerfs this patch already feel meh but people will still complain. Also, Soraka at least wasn't picked/banned so often... ;/

I dunno why you would play Soraka over Senna at this point anyways.
