Sion ult camera change suggestion.
Hello! I played a lot of Sion on the PBE and a lot of Sion on live, and one thing that's irked me on live that i don't remember being a problem on the PBE is that after Sion ults the camera is locked to his position and i can't scroll the screen around while i'm ulting. Personally i feel this is limiting and awkward to use, as i can't see what's happening around the map or at where i'm going to until i'm already there, by which point it's generally far too late to react. I may be mistaken, but i believe that this screen lock wasn't something that existed on the PBE (or at least it wasn't when i did the bulk of my testing during the first week and a half). I find the screen lock incredibly annoying and actively damaging to my experience playing Sion in game, and as such my suggestion is this:
When Sion ults the camera should snap back to Sion (as it currently does) but should not be locked onto Sion and the area immediately in front of him for the duration if Sion tries to reposition the camera. If Sion doesn't move the camera then it functions as is. If Sion does move the camera then it stops being locked onto him and functions normally as it would in any other circumstance. If Sion moves the screen by accident and then refocuses the camera on him with the spacebar (I think that's the default key for that function...) then it relocks onto him and the immediate area in front of him, essentially functioning as it currently does for as long as Sion holds space.
I think this change would make Sion's ult notably more reliable and is fair, as no other skill in the game forces the camera to be locked on your character and the camera lock actively adds fake difficulty to landing Sion's ult, a "feature" not inherently present in any other champion. In the event that Sion's ult becomes too reliable then turnspeed adjustments could be made, or the change reverted.
Thanks for your time, and I hope you consider implementing this change. I love what was done with the rework and it fully lived up to my expectations.
