A few season 4 changes that should be reverted in season 5

First off, I personally feel that some of these changes were not helpful.

  • Warding Limits: Not even sure why they would add that, when your team wont buy wards it helps you carry. Having 8 wards should be allowed. Also you could want 5 wards (and keep replacing them in lane)
  • Oracle's Elixr: I understand that we have red trinket, but Oracle's is pretty much essential for balancing, it's the only viable way to deal with stealth. Red trinket doesn't see them pre 9 (it gives true sight), and pink wards are visible. There are not a lot of options for dealing with that annoying teemo.

Otherwise I think season 4 was great.

hey cool i was just having this same convo last night ! The point i made was this is very inconsistent with any other item , why is this one controlled furthermore why does it matter , its my gold i can spend it on as many wards as i want why cant i place that many ? I can stack 5 potions and use all 5 anytime i want , i can buy 6 warmogs armor if i want and get all that health..but dont you dare place more then 3 wards even if you buy em ...uh what out of game control over a ward of all items ??? ODD

WORSE is i can buy a sightstone get 5 wards in it and not use them all , whats the % you return to base and havent or cant use all 5 of them , my bet is the % of ununsed wards is way higher then people who sustain long enough to use the last two after the first 3 have run out. Illogical and inconsistent is it to even sell you an item at that price that you cant concurrently use all of it, i paid for that item it comes with 5 wards but i cant place them all without losing some ... make no sense what so ever , change the item price and cap on wards it gives to something related to the max wards ... you know like how standard wards are capped at a 3 max stack in inventory ... thats logic and yet they dont continue that logic and consistency to the rest. which is where this whole point i was making stemmed from the inconsistent logic just on face value of the items given , there a magical force that steals your wards after 3 and a new one put down totally out of the game control ...silly

PS- to the poster below its not the games job to setup who puts what where , its your teams , having support as vision bitch still occurs now on bad teams and clearly this cap doesnt stop that it as the OP posted forces GOOD players to be screwed on vision if the rest of the team is bad at it or unwilling making ANYONE the vision bitch now no difference or change has occured. And its not the magical outside hand of gods job to dictate who and what is placing things in game. thats yours and your teams job.

In closing id just like to say - JUST WARD. its everyones job everyones gold and we should be able to spend and place it as many as we want. if i wana drop all my gold on 10 wards drop em at base rather then buy usefull items its on me as the player of the game and a member of a team for the consequences.
