Placements Bugged???

Me and a bunch of friends are getting the worst placements ever i won 6 of my 10 games and got placed in bronze 4... i was gold 5 in preseason and last season i was placed in silver 3 after winning 5 of my 10 games so how is it that by doing better in my placements this time around kill and win wise that i go down from being placed in silver3 to bronze4??? please explain this to me and its not just me everyone on my friends list is having the same issue my platinum friend got placed in silver2 after winning 9 of his 10 games... every single game people are saying the same thing they went from silver or higher to bronze so please tell me why everyone is getting placed in such low ranks no matter how they do.

I was in gold i was above the mmr reset and my plat friend is in silver now from winning 9 placements so that flaw they are talking about is a big one

The new dynamic que is starting everyone at 0 mmr.. So they brought it down within hours to bad that was also the only reason most people PURCHASED an ip boost for the 450% .. gg riot stealing

No. Otherwise you would see everyone in bronze.

The actual calculation is [(your end of season 5 mmr) + 1200]/2. So if you had 1300 mmr at the end of last season, you will have 1250 for the reset. Your placements make about a 250 mmr difference either way.

250 difference after you get the rank reset mmr change. I could be wrong, riot doesnt release how it works.
