Okay guys, I realize I'm in Bronze V for a reason, I'm not the best player. The only problem is that I am playing games as Gnar in top lane (He's my main) and I just went against a Nasus. I pushed the lane all the way to the inhib and took the inhib by myself and didn't once get a scratch on my tower. Yet my team still throws the game. Is there something I'm not doing correct? I'm just utterly frustrated and don't know what to do. What can I do to drag myself out of Bronze? Thank you for your time.

This is quite a frequent thing for me. I don't always do perfectly by any means and I am very aware I have faults. But I just feel like I'm doing my best and it's just not enough.

Well you have to understand their are a lot of variables that we on the forums do not get to see in your games. I'll make 1 point about this though, and thats Gnar is a team fighter.. If you are spending THAT much time split pushing it means your team is left w.o you. Given the nature of your champion you should be using Mega Gnar to win team fights.. Nasus is a split pusher, his kit thrives doing so. I think you need to play more to your champions strengths and your team's needs. Or find a different champ that fits your split pushing desires.

If you prefer a split pushing strategy, try Tryndamere, Xin Zhao, or Jax. Gnar isn't really suited for split pushing, he is a lot more useful in team fights with his tankiness and CC.

If you find that you are consistently winning lane, you should step it up and play a carry role. Gnar will have trouble carrying by himself simply because his kit and builds don't pack a lot of sustained damage. Try Darius or Rumble top instead for more damage.

Of course, you should also practice other lanes and other champions. If you find that mid lane or bot lane throws often at your ELO, try learning these roles and playing these instead to support your team.
