What's a donger got to do to get an S rank

Three champions on my team in ARAM got S- or higher. I got an A+. Let's examine the game stats.

Most Damage: Me, the donger. Most Kills: Donger + Varus (S)

I had more kills and CS than Brand, and less deaths than Varus.

I had the largest multikill.

At the end of the day, there's no point in getting angry about it, but I gotta ask. Why does it seem like the performance rankings on ARAM don't make sense?

You are not compared to your team. You are compared with the top percentile Dongers in ARAM and you were found lacking :P You want high KP and high damage to objectives in addition to high CS and KDA

You are compared against other people who played the same champion. So while you may have done great, you didn't do well enough when compared to other people who played Heimer.
