Now what happens to ranked?
This is my first year playing league and after a season ends what happens to ranked. Do you restart and get placed again or do you just reach a higher elo without reward or what?

This is preseason so your rank doesn't matter right now. You will have to do 10 placements again, which highest you can get is p1( usually only diamonds and master get this) and then start from where you are placed
