Is attack damage amumu a good thing?

i played a game as ad amumu it was tanky with a hydra and wits end it worked because it was really tanky but had attack damage to push fast and hard. I had cinderhulk ,righteous glory, randuins omen, hydra, wits end and mobi boots. He was mobile with tank stats and was about to do massive damage with cinderhulk and his cry and when it came to towers he melted them with the AD and attack speed. Overall is the a viable build or a good idea does anyone else agree??
