WTF riot custom skins?

I get on wooxy and look at the news and riots bending over custom skins makers and just giving it to them and thats thats not ok looking at all of ritos f**k ups this is the worst if this goes on and riot bans custom skins and if you use them im going to leave them on and if you care about custom skins i encourage you to and if i get ban for using custom skins so be it but i cant let riot do this to the custom skins makers when there skins are better then riots

p.s i think riots just jelly but IDK

this isn't new

riot was actively working to destroy custom skins as early as ~2012. there was one client update that was literally designed to bugsplat/crash your game if it detected third party software plugging into league at launch. ~~too bad the patch didnt work on scripters at all.~~ the patch also didnt discriminate between custom skins and replay recorders, so for a while all spectator POV recording software was broken and everyone whose analysis relied on these softwares was freaking out.

i remember having to uninstall and delete some of my custom skins once the that patch came through b/c i literally couldnt play the game with them on.
