Broken Matchmaking

When are they going to fix their trash matchmaking? Every other game I play in normals puts us versus some platinums or diamonds, meanwhile me and my friends are Silver/Gold. Big surprise of course that every one of these games we tend to lose due to this high ranked player carrying the game hard.

I cannot progress my champions or grade when every other fucking game I am put in is against players who are way ahead of me in grade and skill. I know RIOT only care about money and not the actual development of the game but seriously, when will they put the players first and fix their already broken matchmaking system. It is not hard to look at others that workwell and copy those, not just "OH we can't find anyone to match you against out of the thousands of players so here just take this Diamond/Plat". Yeah, that totally makes fun gameplay huh?

I remember why I stopped playing a year ago, gameplay is just a joke, one team smashes the other or vice versa.

The reason you play against Diamond/Plat is because Normal and Ranked have a different MMR. Those players just don't play a lot of normals, so when they queue up for normals you play against them.

I fully understand that Ranked & Normals have different MMR's however that is part of the problem. When a player has been placed in a skillgroup such as Diamond/Plat, they have clearly shown that they are skilled enough to be in there and play versus that skillgroup, and then straight away they can go into normals with some Bronze/Silvers and get some easy games and ruin the fun for everyone else. What is the point? I just want to play versus players who are within a skillgroup from me, not 3 entire skillgroups up.

Yes, and they don't care, because somehow it works for a huge number of people. i don't know why nobody cares about having fair and intense (i.e. fun) matches.

What you just said is perfect example of what I want, fair matches vs fair skilled players "roughly" where the games can be entertaining. Not a game where one Diamond playing as Gangplank who carries their entire team 25-2.
