Can Riot just kill Double Support Bot Lanes Already

I can't imagine this was an intended result of the changes they made to allow AP carries in the bot lane. My issue is not with dual support champs in a lane but more with the abuse of double support items. It's difficult to say whether support itemization is overtuned as it is impossible to look at them vaccuum due to prevalence Kleptomancy, spellthief and Pyke in these combination. We've now seen multiple first pick Sona's, who for the longest time seemed to be unpickable once the accompanying taric was baned, being paired with TK and galio.

Sona + Taric Sona + Tahm Kench Sona + Nautilus Pyke + Yumi Morgana+ Pyke

In my opinion a champion that is not actively farming should never be allowed to be the strongest champion in a game. The supposed counterplay to these stratergiesis to attack them in the laning phase but we've consistently scene that despite falling behind in lanes upon the complete of support quest gold leads swing in the favor of these dual support lanes. Mostly due to mechanics that now exist in the game that simply dratically warp the gold income of a team. Sona lanes that only begin farming at approximately 10 minutes being up in gold simply through klepto and spellthief procs. Or pyke...who can swing entire gold leads off a couple of kills.

I just really hope riot takes a second pass at support itemization and just how much strength and impact the role/champions are allowed to have on a game.
