I play Master Yi jungle a lot and i find that i stack feral in 13-15 minutes if I don't get disturbed while in my jungle. In this time, my teammates flame and say that i should gank when i only have Madreds and a dagger. Yi is a champion that has a hard time ganking until level 6. Today a lee sin was killing my jungle (just the big minion )so i won't get stacks and he said "you don't like to gank so ill jungle". When I get Feral and a bork everything is fine. I kill people easily and fast with red buff. This is what i've been noticing for weeks.

Honestly, my opinion on this matter is that Feral Flare just isn't a viable option for most teams. When you purposefully plan and pick around a FF jungler, like Yi, it does wonders. But solo queue players don't do that - they can't afford to pick around you because they don't know you well enough to be sure that you're consistent with your play. They have to pick prepared to win the match of their own merit and not assisting you to your full potential.

So yeah, FF is just out of the meta. This little counter addition isn't going to change that, but if and when the jungle meta shifts you may be able to find new viability.

item 3209 I rush it in 70% -ish of my games, I'll go for item 3160 -if- I think I can get away with it, or if my mid is manaless maybe.

item 3160 was godly before the nerf. Now every ad Jungler thinks it's the only item needed to win. At least when I build it I gank when lanes ask for ganks or if I'm in the area. But other junglers just afk and the two kills they get after building justifies it to them.

There's a lot of champs who either get disturbed in the jungle or have to pay attention to lanes. That's the gamble with this item.

i hate scrubs who AFK in the jungle till they get feral... oh mids pushed to the turret? lets kill wraiths! oh mid's gotten killed twice? bitch about that scrub feeding, ingore the turret being taken, and proceed to kill wolves... and this kind of shit happens all the time

what if the enemy gets fed during the time jungle is afk ignoring the rest of the map? as is more common than feral flare jungler carrying 1v5 or 2v5... so what you just said is if bot lane gets crushed because the other team's ADC and Support (and maybe even their smarter jungler ganks) are better and were left unchecked by you (because of no ganks and no map pressure) then its worth you're feral flare? some people will make plays BECAUSE they KNOW YOU'RE AFK FARMING YOUR JUNGLE and dont have to worry about getting ganked >.>
