Decrease stun duration throughout the game if we are stuck with this burst meta

There are some stuns in game that are just disgustingly too long for the type of game league of legends has become. We aren't fans of the burst meta, but it looks like we wont be heard on that, fine. At the very least, decrease the stun duration on skills that some what spammable and isn't the champions ultimate. Some champions that come to mind are: Morgana : Lets face it, she can hurt even as a support and her Q stun lasts way to long. Some will argue its a skill-shot, but the hit-box for that skill is significant in width and length. Her ult however is reasonable cause its an ultimate. I can live with that. Ahri : I understand complaining about Ahri's stun is questionable, but for a burst focused champion, and her ability to rush you and stun at a close distance without repercussion, the length becomes too lengthy to counter.

I am sure there are many more people can come up with, but those are the two champions I'm familiar with to give an example on.

My overall complaint is, since its all about bursting enemies down within seconds, stun duration, especially on champion that have the damage to burst you after using said stun, should be decreased allowing for counter play outside of itemization and "just dodging".

A Katarina main that cant dodge? Complaining about stun length? The reason "Just dodge it" is an option is because you can walk away from the slow moving skillshots, hide behind minions or let a tanky champion eat it for you. "We aren't fans of the burst meta" but it looks like you are more than willing to show that you are a fan of it. Play a tank and show that stuns dont even effect you, or how about this. Get merc treads, it lowers it by a whole 25%. Maybe also just dont get hit by skillshots.

Morgana's Q isn't even a stun nor Ahri's E and item 3111 item 3140 item 3155 summoner 1 hard counters both champions

You know that CC is the way to COUNTER burst champs right? And that if CC duration was decreased throughout the game there'd be no way to deal with burst champions?

Also how else does one counterplay anything excluding itemization and mechanical outplaying like "just dodging?"

This would be a massive indirect buff to champs w/ Displacement/Knockup CC, many players who go into precision on champs that's weakness is being CC'd and bursted go into Legend tenacity in runes sometimes even buying merc treads on top of this, if Stun/root duration were reduced these non knockback/displacement CC's would be much much weaker.

I agree with the premise of your argument that if burst is so high CC should be somewhat reduced to give players a chance to counterplay rather than being bursted down in the duration of 1 CC. But unless riot normalizes the value of CC not affected by tenacity and CC that is it will only accomplish an indirect buff to champs whose CC isn't reduced by tenacity.

IMO if riot nerfed displacement/knockup CC on carry oriented champions AND did this it could be a very interesting change that might make the game better.
