What else did i need to get an S?

Today I played Darius in the top lane because I was try some new. I wasn't using unsportsmanlike language and no one reported me. I went 17/0 with 205 cs and didn't get an S and got smacked in the face with a lousy A+. Someone on ma team who did equally as well got an S with 28/8 with only 166 cs. Riot can u please tell me how I could have gotten an S and what I needed to improve because Darius is a tank and going 17/0 with him doesn't happen often.

What happens here is you are being ranked based on how well Everyone plays that champ. Basically If everyone who plays Darius was put on a scale, You would be high but not yet at the top! I can understand that this is disheartening but it just makes it that much more impressive when you see people who have actually pulled it off. Just remember to ward and keep playing your best and I'm sure you can get there!

S is determined by how well you played on your champion compared to others. You got a 4.5 cs per minute which isnt that great.

Fizz was jungler, junglers tend to not get that high of a CS so he got an S for his efforts.

More CS.

Ranks are given based on other people in the same role, same champion. The guy you're referencing was jungling Fizz. His CS is worth more gold, junglers get lower CS counts anyway, and Fizz jungle is uncommon to begin with.

Did you get turrets, and were your mechanics on point?

Yeah I would say if the game ended before 40 mins you def would have got an S. But you gotta look at CS/M like another user pointed out. Try to shoot for a minimum of 5 cs per minute unless JG or Supp.
