Why is Poppys R a projectile? [Blockable]

Velinnaria··3 votes·889 views

I just finished playing a game as Poppy. When I tried to knock back an enemy Yasuo with my R, they blocked it.

What?

Can someone please tell me why Poppy's R is blockable by Yasuo's Windwall?

That is like blocking Malphite's R with Windwall.

I really hope this is just an oversight because having to charge up the knockback only to have it blocked by a Windwall is really unsatisfying.

Because it's a projectile.

Because it's a ranged attack that doesn't cause the user to change to the location of the attack. So basicly it's a projectile.

It should be coded as a projectile. Any reason why it shouldnt?!

Malphite's ult is in no way similar to Poppy's ult.

Malphite's ult is a ground-targeting dash that activates an effect on arrival.

Poppy's ult is a channel that releases a hitbox in the targeted direction and the hithox interacts upon champion collusion. AKA Projectile-based skill.
