Bard's Ult

Wouldn't it make sense to have Bard's ultimate give assists? I successfully prevented an enemy from moving for 2.5sec. Shouldn't I get an assist for that? Granted, his ult can be a pretty troll move, but I feel its unfair to not get any compensation for a long distance ult on Bard.

Also adding that I mean assists when used on enemies, not allies. That needs to be clarified I think.
