kog'maw ideas

I am an ex Kog'Maw main. i recently returned to the champion. Problem is, i feel as though he needs an update of some kind. His base skin has almost 0 detail compared to the splash art and other later skins such as Pug'maw or Battlecast. While these skins improve his in game looks, i feel like his kit isn't great compared to other champions in the game now. I feel like a good improvement to him would be to make his W a passive, and remove his current passive which relies upon him dying. This could be changed so that his passive is like a Firecannon attack, where maybe every 3 autos the next one gains extra range based on level. His Q can stack between 1-2 times, and remove the Attack Speed increase passive, allowing it to be more of a poke tool in lane. His W could then be a flat Attack Speed increasing tool, which could scale with Attack speed, meaning he could build less than the average ADC. E could stay the same, it helps him hit his R and stay in range to poke from afar, and his R could just use a small update as far as the true sight goes, it doesn't have any real sign to show that it would grant vision after exploding, so maybe just have a small voidling crawl out of the hole, which would grant a second of true vision, then scurry away. He has a very out-dated visual design, and i would like to see him become a little more popular again. He had a good streak, but after the Q got the Attack Speed, you had to max 2 different abilities just to keep up with some of the more potent ADC's like Kai'Sa. With Senna being released now as well, he just feels very out classed in the role, but he's too reliant on a support to be playable Mid.

I think that other Kog'maw players would agree that playing an ADC that takes almost 30 minutes and a huge amount of farm to become a carry, just doesnt seem like a great design. His base model is also a bit outdated, compare him to Senna, Mordekaiser and Pantheon who have all had reworks, or even people like Jinx or Vi, older champions that still have decent visuals. His base skin is just so sloppy and doesnt look good, which is why i always play as Battlecast or Pug'maw, both of which are fine designs, but they're newer skins.

I know theres a lot of ideas at the moment as far as new champions go, and reworking outdated ones too, but I personally feel far more excited learning about the Fiddle and Voli reworks than i am about new champions. Just my opinion, but it could be nice to see what everyone else thinks on the subject.

I thought his rooted turret thing was cool... but I guess it was either busted or useless since they reverted it.

The only thing I would change about Kog'Maw, at least in the immediate, would be his passive.

It is garbage, it does next to no damage, the damage can't be increased in any way, and gives utterly no benefit while he is alive.
