Impossible to derank from silver 4?

Honestly, 32% winrate, been in silver 4 with 0 LP for a VERY long time. How do you even get to iron? Why would I even want to play this game when the overwhelming majority of my games are one sided losses? I mean match making was bad before hand, but this is straight up clown world.

edit I have nearly 60 games... not 3.

edit 2 Okay, so I have to drop more elo before I drop tier... even after 60 games with a 32% win rate? How is that fair to the 60+ games of other players trying to get OUT of silver? I HAVE to stay in silver for 60+ games, before league drops me to a lower tier... who tf thought this was a good idea? Hey, you guys wonder why matchmaking is so off balance? This, this right here is why.

MMR? Its a lot like a balance. You need enough losses to sink your MMR into a match average around Bronze 4-bronze3 To actually demote.

at the moment your still in B1 match averages

WR is not as relevant as # of games. some one with a WR of 33% for 3 games is not the same as 33% for 100.

K variable impacts MMR gains as well and adjusts from # of games to shift weight per match to better reflect trends and protect ratings.

I'm pretty sure it's deliberately hard to demote out of a rank. Especially for lower ranks.

However, your matches aren't made based off of your rank. Your MMR, something kept separate from your rank, is how they're actually made.

So..like...it really doesn't matter for you whether or not you demote. The only problem would be if having the silver rewards instead of the bronze or iron rewards would somehow be bad for you. You'll (eventually) be matched based on your actual skill. It just takes time for the system to catch up if you're really bad.

60 games later... still here, and still have the majority of my matches filled with silvers :|

You're MMR is B1-B2, once it dropps to B3 you are about to be demoted.

It is possible to demote from tiers. I know because I've got to gold 4, then went on a losing streak back to silver 2, then finally reclaimed my gold 4. So yes, it's entirely possible.

Your MMR has to drop an entire tier before you can demote.

I went from Plat4 to gold 1 after 8 lose at 0lp in a row, u need to lose a lot at0 lp if u want to demote it's not like from silver 3 to silver 4 when u can demote after legit 1lose at 0 lp

Well first you'd have to go through Bronze XD

It's not impossible but you basically have to get your LP down to Bronze IV to be demoted out of Silver. I somehow pulled it off three seasons ago with like a 10 game loss streak. You can tell when you're getting close to demotion cause you'll see a red exclamation point over your rank telling you you're in the danger zone.
