Earning 2 S-grades in 1 game unlocks 1 chest only, but locks out both champions for the season.

Last night I played a normal game with 2 other friends. Both myself and one of my friend got an S-grade on a champion (TF and Shen) we have yet to get an S grade on since hextech crafting came out. At the end of the game, we only got 1 chest, but now both TF for me and Shen for my friend has been locked out for the season as available for unlocking chests. Essentially, we lost a chest because we used twice as many champions needed for that 1 chest.

Either we should be able to get multiple chests per game, or only 1 champion should be locked out of being eligible for hextech crafting. Otherwise this encourages people to purposely not get an S to on specific champions in game if another person is doing well in order not to waste a chance.

Yes, I agree that it's pretty lame the way it seems to work right now.

On a kind related note, I have some other questions surrounding a similar situation that maybe someone could answer, since I'm not able to test it myself:

If me and a friend plays together and he gets an S rank and I get, say, an A rank, we both get a chest, right? But will the champ I got an A rank on be locked out of getting a chest when I eventually earn an S rank on that champ, just because I got a chest from my friend's S rank when using that same champ in a later game?

Also, if I get an S rank and earn a chest with a champ, that champ will be inelligible for another chest for that season, but does that mean I also can't get any chests when a friend gets an S rank if I'm using that same champ I got an S rank on earlier, or will I still be able to get chests whenever my friends gets an S rank with a new champ, even if the champ I'm using has already earned a chest from an S rank?

How does the chest rewarding system work in these two situations?

I am not sure about the 2nd question, but I know the first one: I believe you only get locked out if your champion gets an S. I had a friend who got an S-grade on Sivir a few games before, and the only champion I am locked out of is TF.
