Akali W broken state (description about the exact issue) - Wall of Text attention

my name is VladLovegood and I started playing this game 8 years ago. I was playing on EUNE for the first two seasons (god I miss victorius season II skins), but hey after, me and my friends transfered to good old EUW after disquliafing NA server'cus of ping issues (sorry guys :)).
My issue is my recent game, that i played in map of ARAM, and the problem is Akali W spell. I have to quote the new reworked Akali spell here: quote - W: TWILIGHT SHROUD Akali restores energy and creates a cloud of smoke, which slowly spreads to cover a ring-shaped area. While in the smoke, Akali is obscured and has increased movement speed.
While obscured, Akali is stealthed and though her position can be revealed, Akali herself can't be—meaning she can't be targeted by abilities or attacks, including by turrets.
Akali can leave the smoke a few times to extend the duration of Twilight Shroud by a small amount.
Ok, so basically here says that Akali is obscured by pressing the W spell and that she is stealthed and can not be seen as she is stealthed but I played the game as Skarner and when "Akali uses her W spell and gets out of the ring and becomes visible to attack other players, I have multiple times tried to cast ultimate R(Impale) on her but I was unsucesfull to deal damage. I was able to move her on the map but she was invisible the whole time."
Now, how is it possible, that I can target her with my R spell, and not see her or my Teammates when she left the shroud and is not any longer Obscured. Is anyone there able to answer on my question? If the Skarner is able to catch Akali outside the shroud when she is visible with his R(Impale) and drag her over the map, he should be able to see her or deal damage, I think I have made it clear here.
Thank you very much for reading and taking your time, but as long as I would not like to go into the balance state of the new Akali, some things looks like preaty much they are not very balanced.
